The Hotel dei Pini rises in a reserved area next to the Parco Naturale di Porto Conte e Capo Caccia (Porto Conte Natural Park and the Cliffs of Capo Caccia), in the north west of Sardinia in what has become known as the Riviera del Corallo (Coral Riviera), seven kilometres from the town of Alghero and the international airport of Alghero-Fertilia.

The Hotel is set between a private beach of fine white sand and a 30,000 square metre wood of maritime pines and Mediterranean vegetation. This fortunate location allows you to enjoy an oasis of privacy and silence while at the same time providing the opportunity to avail of the natural attractions and archaeological sites of the area, the shops and the local nightlife.

Alghero: situated in the northwest of Sardinia, Alghero is widely known as the Catalan city of Italy or as affectionately considered by Catalans as “Barcelonetta of Sardinia”. It was founded in 1102 by the powerful Doria family of Genoa, who decided to fortify the promontory joined to the mainland from a large isthmus. Seaweed (Algae) piled on the new fortification and this in turn perhaps gave the city its name. The old city still preserves today the imprint left by the centuries of Catalan domination in the buildings, the speech and the cuisine.
